House 4 – Shanghai, China [2005]

A renovation project of an historic detached lane house in the former French Concession area of Shanghai, involving major interior architecture, some structural work, total infrastructural upgrading and a series of details in the spirit of the original, though enhanced.
An individual decorative motif was created that guided the aesthetic programme of the house, usually starting with the smallest details.
