Penthouse – Shanghai, China [2006]

This three-level penthouse flat in the Gubei section of Shanghai intended to create a contemporary residence for a resident celebrating an urban lifestyle. A palette of grey orchestrated the stone and wood materials, and a number of details, including the use of charred steel, run through the project.
